Absolutely blown away and amazed!!!

I hadn't heard much about Michael Buble until I watched the Dateline special on him earlier this year. Besides the fact that he is absolutely amazing to look at (especially when he sings), his voice sounded excellent, so I got his CD for my mother for Christmas. Problem is I haven't been able to give it to her yet because I haven't been able to stop listening! I was completely blown away. He sings with the wisdom and talent of those who sang these great songs before him. He has an amazing voice. Don't be caught off guard by the song list and think that this is a cover album. He definitely brings his own flavor to these songs. This album is wonderfully fresh and new and I absolutely love it! :)

Richard Nixon's America

I never really understood why the second disc was included as part of this set, it had nothing to do with the contents of the album. Then again who would have bought it on it's own? The first disc represents the first collaboration of John & Yoko that is expressed through music and not their usual avant-gard. Though many will say the album was not John or Yoko's best, it was a very important album at the time and was widely underrated. Songs like John's "New York City" or the John/Yoko songs "Sunday Bloody Sunday," and "Attica State" feature John at his most rockin'. Yoko's contributions to the album are not of her best, but are still fitting with the context of the album. "Sisters O Sisters," the first female anthem is probably the best of her work on this project, "We're All Water" would have been better showcased in an edited version (perhaps like the one on Onobox). Although I do like the album, both John & Yoko have done better work. A good John album to check out would be "Imagine" or "John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band". Some of Yoko's best work can be found on "Approximately Infinite Universe" or "Season of Glass," the album released shortly after the death of John.

moby = genius ┐? why ┐?

People are saying that moby is like a god, that he is one of the world best producer, people say that his this record, Play, is the album of the year, ??. I have heard this is the best techno album ever. I cannot understand this things. Please forgive me, but in my view, Play is simply a bad album. The only thing moby has made, is sample some old soul vinyls, and put music behind. And believe me, that the only good things of this album are these voices, which are the only things moby has not made. The drums are simply bad produced, the music is simply, and his voice is, oh my god!, why anybody has say to moby that he cannot sign?. You could say me you like some of the album songs, but please, DON'T SAY ME THAT MOBY IS A GOOD PRODUCER AND DON'T SAY THAT PLAY IS ONE OF THE BEST 90's ALBUM!!!

Good Listening Classic EJ

31 years ago? Can it be true that it has been this long?
Still fondly remember records like this from my childhood.
"Daniel," "Skyline Pigeon"(played at Ryan White's funeral) and the popular "Crock Rock" are all on this CD.

If you are just first exploring early EJ, I would recommend "Good Bye Yellow Brick Road" to start off with.
