Title: Best of Bowie
Label: Virgin Records
Artist: David Bowie

His "Golden Years".

This is really mostly the same as his "Changes" cd, but if you're looking for the best of the best of "Bowie", this is it. Included is "Space Oddity", "Ziggy Stardust", "Young Americans", "Modern Love", and many more. This also has "Dancing In The Street" with Mick Jagger. Obviously someone as huge and influential as "Bowie" needs more than a one disc retrospective. If you need more too, there's the 2-disc version of this collection, which has twice as much, and is twice as good. For just a few dollars more, I'd definitely get that one. It has everything that's missing here, and will also have you saying "Let's Dance".

A Unique Album That Sounds Just as Fresh 30 Years Later

This CD is a rarity. An absolutey perfect album! I purchased it upon release shortly after the breakup of Cream. Everybody knew that Clapton and Bruce didn't get along. In the track, "Never Tell Your Mother (Clapton?) She's Out of Tune", Bruce refers to a "bizarre guitarman". All the tracks are original and inspired; the vocals are otherwordly. Not only was this album ahead of its time, but it has aged rather well. Sit back, close your eyes, and listen to "Theme Fom An Imaginary Western" and you'll hear Bruce's voice painting on a canvas in your brain. As a rock singer, this man is a god. His voice is legendary, preceding and obviously, influencing icons like Robert Plant, Paul Rodgers, Lou Graham, and other "signature" rock voices. Furthermore, in my opinion, he is far and away the best rock bassist of all time. ( If you want proof, listen sometime to what he's doing under Clapton's famous solo on Crossroads) I really wish that he had been more prolific and that more people realized his genius. Buy this CD and you will experience something rare and priceless!

Title: One Heart

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED

I have always liked Celine Dion's work. I have every cd she has made, yet I was EXTREMELY disappointed with One Heart. From the moment I took the cd out of the case and saw the CHRYSLER logo on the paper inset inside the case (The paper in between 2 pieces of plastic, that on the other side has the song titles), to the moment that I heard all the songs, I was disappointed. I drove all night is excellent, but the next track, Love is all we need is horrible, and the quality of the music just descends from there. I hope Celine focuses on quality and not $$$ for her next record, because if she keeps selling out, eventually there will be nothing to sell.

Title: Whoa, Nelly!

Her music, it grew on me!

I'll admit when I first heard "I'm Like a Bird," I hated it (It's tolerable now). I do like both versions of "Turn Off the Lights," though I am more partial the original rather than the Timbaland. Well last weekend I was at a dinner party and this CD was playing. Well I liked what I heard. And I decided to buy it as soon as I found out who was playing. To my surprise, I found out it was Nelly Furtado, and I've been hooked since (I still skip over "I'm Like a Bird," but the rest of the CD is good listening).
