OH COME ON!!! YOU DON'T WANT FIVE "SADENESS" REPLICAS DO U?!

Unlike some of the previous reviewers, I will keep my review short and open-minded. This Album is beautiful, sensual and very "Enigma cool". The title for this album is well chosen and appropriate as it feels like an atmospheric trip in the world of Enigma. Once more Enigma hasn't disappointed me. Well done!

The heart asks for pleasure first

'The piano' is a very fine drama. It's soundtrack plays a very important part of it. The songs, themes in this soundtrack perfectly shows the movie itself. All songs are very beautiful and full of emotion. ' The heart asks for pleasure first' is one of the masterpiece of all songs, I keep on listening to it before go to next other songs. The rest of the songs are also beautiful, passionate and gentle. If you like this soundtrack you may probably like the soundtrack of ' Swept from the Sea' by John Barry. It's really wonderful too.

Where do you hear this kind of music?

I'm hearing this for the first time through Amazon and I'm blown away! Moorcheeba too! I managed to get here because I like Single Gun Theory's "Flow River of My Soul." Are there radio stations out there playing the Brighton sound?

"Beautiful"

I was one of the few people who publicly admitted to loving this show in the theatre. I absolutely ADORED it. But then again, I also loved LaChiusa's other works (Hello Again, Petrified Prince, and his new AWESOME work: The Wild Party). The score ranges from opera, to gritty jazz, to showtunes, to gospel, even veging on contemporary pop in many places. It is constantly beautiful. It is IMPOSSIBLE not to be moved by songs such as "Musicals and Mysteries", "Danced With A Girl", "Cincinatti", "Your Name" and my personal favorite "I Will Give". The orchestrations are the best I have EVER heard. And I've herd a LOT of scores. Mr.Tunick is well deserving of the Triple Crown (Grammy, Tony and Oscar)and his work is consistently amazing (A Chorus Line, Sweeney Todd, Company, Titanic, Into the Woods, etc). I cannot recommend this cd any more than I already am. You will NOT regret it. It WILL BE one of the greatest, and most powerful, listening experiences of your life.
