David Cassidy Soars With "Then And Now"!

Who cannot remember riding that multicolored bus every Friday night when they were a kid? How many wished they were David Cassidy or Susan Dey? It was with great sadness in 1974 when the wheels came to a grinding stop. Or did they? David Cassidy has achieved positive press (and well deserved!) for his post-Partridge days. For a while he seemed to have his regrets for the teenybopper image he once wore as a crown. As years passed and he realized how much his fans really loved him and his music and their diehard approach to defending his Partridge years, David chose to come to terms with his teen star image and now over thirty years later, has come out with a fantasic CD of remakes of his former hits to dazzle yet a new generation of Cassidy fans! This is an excellent rework of hits done in his old, known style and the songs still hold up well after all these years! From the Partridge smash "I Think I Love You" to his own versions of "Ain't No Sunshine" and "Cry" this is a top-notch effort by a great performer who has far transcended the "fading pop idol" that many thought he would be by now. At 52, Cassidy still ROCKS!! This guy may have graduated from his Partridge years, but his voice is still going strong and he has become a very seasoned performer and has polished his act into a brilliant gem! If you don't own this CD, what are you waiting for? This CD is destined to be a platinum classic! A tried and true positive proof that David Cassidy is well on the path for a huge comeback for new and old fans alike. But for some of us who were always there--he never really went anywhere! He was always there for us and still is!!Buy "Then And Now" today, you won't be disappointed!

MANY HITS ARE MISSING!

Where are Living in Danger, Never Gonna say I'm Sorry, Wheel of Fortune, Happy Nation??? Why didn't Arista release Singles of the 90's??? SOT 90's is a way better CD than this. The only reason I gave this CD 2 stars is that AoB is my fave group. Please note: THIS CD IS A TOTAL DISSAPOINTMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Remarkable!

Obviously, the low raters of this CD cannot appreciate great classical music even if it hit them in the face. Lara St. John is a remarkable performer with passion and virtuosity!

A Sampling of Brilliant Bream

This is a sampler, a cross section, if you will, from The Julian Bream Edition, a 28-CD set of guitar performances, which spans the period from early music to the 20th century. If you're not prepared to go the whole set, the fine performances on this CD cut across the spectrum of guitar compositions.
One note of caution, there are no liner notes for the pieces on this CD. What is included is basically a promo piece for the whole collection. Also, by the way, this particular CD opens backwards.
