Thinking of it makes me smile! :)

Just like most of the other people who have left reviews, I too grew up listening to this album. It is such a joy to learn that others were making their Christmas complete by enjoying this wonderful masterpiece of music. I haven't heard the album in years, but I've been singing the songs in my head since I was a kid. It's funny, it's heartwarming, it's a Christmas tradition! And, it should be one in every family! If you are looking for the perfect Christmas album, you've found it. I have no doubt that you will love it!

After reading everyones review I have to agree with most of them she can act and dance but singing she is just ok in. Yeah shes pretty but she aint nuthin like the real selena. Selena can actually sing and dance. Her life was just short but her legend still lives on. I dont mean to disrespct anyone here but this is only my opinion

Title: Hunky Dory

Fantastic album

I like David Bowie and this is the album that got me into music. I was about 5 years old when my cousin (who's a Bowie fanatic) played that record over and over again. Years later I listened to it again and songs like 'Life On Mars?', 'Quicksand', 'Andy Warhol' and 'The Bewlay Brothers' brought back great memories and are as great as ever. I've heard his other material and I like it, especially 'Ziggy Stardust' and 'Station to Station', but 'Hunky Dory' remains for me an absolute gem!

a review of whitney: the greatest hits

overall the first c.d. is much better than the second one is. i don't like the fact that she remixed all of her fast songs. what if somebody liked those other songs? that means they would have to buy all the other c.d.'s for them. here is my view of the first c.d. disc 1: 1)you give good love: good song. a total chick's tune. 2)saving all my love for you: terrific song. whitney at her best. 3) greatest love of all: either you love this song or you hate it. most people are ashamed to admit they like it. 4)all at once: great break-up song. vintage whitney. 5) if you say my eyes are beautiful: one of the most beautiful songs of all time. a perfect wedding song. 6)didn't we almost have it all: beautiful song. 7)where do broken hearts go: a song that we can all relate to. whitney's voice compliments the song. a beautifully written and recorded song. 8)all the man that i need: an ok song. not one of her best. 9)run to you: great song. whitney does a terrific job here. 10)i have nothing: one of whitney's best songs ever. her voice brings this beautiful song to life. a song that should have won the oscar that year. 11)i will always love you: whitney had her very best. 12)exhale (shoop shoop): proof of how much a wonderful singer whitney truly is. she brought this lyrically bland song to life. but even whitney couldn't do much for this song. it sucks. 13)why does it hurt so bad: an ok song. definitely not one of her finest. 14)i believe in you and me: a beautiful song. she does a beautiful job with it. 15)heartbreak hotel: good song. faith and kelly's voices compliment whitney's voice wonderfully. 16)my love is your love: not as good as the remix but still a pretty descent song. 17)same script, different cast: great song. whitney and deborah's voices blend together beautifully. this is a really great song. 18) could i have this kiss forever: terrific song. enrique and whitney sound really good together.
