This time it's about the CD

Well, my last review wasn't really about No Strings Attached and since Amazon doesn't really explain to you about the songs, I thought I would.
1. Bye Bye Bye- The first single off the CD, and a great song. It has a catchy tune and will leave you wanting to listen to the rest of the CD. Its about a girl or guy who wont leave you alone when you broke up and your tellin her to leave you alone!
2. It's Gonna Be Me- The second single off the CD, and a lot more catchier. A lot of people don't realize this but Justin is the human beat box for most of the song. (thats when you keep the beat with your voice) This song is great for dancing to especially if you know the choreography (like me!) As Justin put it, the song is like - If you don't step up to the plate, then it's gonna be too late, I see we coulda had a date and thats....not so great.- (from making the video which was hilarious!)
3. Space Cowboy- Funky dance song co-written by JC. If you have seen this performed (on MTV, at a aconcert, etc), it has awesome choreography also. It's just a party song to listen to if you really have to dance. This song is about living your life to the fullest and not worrying about whats gonna happen and just play life as it is.
4. Just Got Paid- Great remake of Johnny Kemp's song back in the 80's. Justin & Chris also wrote and sing a rap in the middle which is really cool. Yet another great song off the CD. This song is really about partying (after you just got paid)
5. It Makes Me Ill- OK now this is an AWESOME R&B song mixed with ballads (of course its gonna have ballads--its *NSYNC! ) This one will really get you movin even if you dont like them. This is about a girl and a guy breaking up and the girl goes out with another guy to make the guy jealous and the guy knows what the girl is up to and when he sees the other guy and his ex girl together he dont like it. (It could be the other way around too)
6. This I Promise You- Beautiful ballad with JC and Justin singing up front most of the vocals. It is so pretty and could easily be a love song for anybody you love. Most likely will be the 3rd realease for the CD.(Like..maybe..*NSYNC! )
7. No Strings Attached- Another song that great to dance to. and of course mixed with funky ballads and tight choreography. About someone you love and you would give your heart to with "No Strings Attached".
8. Digital Get Down- This song is one of the best songs off the CD. It has a tight beat and will leave R&B and pop fans loving the song. This one is about partying over the net.
9. Bringin Da Noise- This song is one of those songs that would remind you of Here We Go off their debut CD. Its a good song to get dancing to. This one is just about partying!
10. Thats When I'll Stop Loving You- Yet another beautiful ballad which is nearly 99% perfect down to every note. This is just a plain love song. But it is so well written and the lyrics are amazing.
11. I'll Be Good For You- Co-written by Justin, it is another perfect love song for anybody to listen to and it shows off their voices well too.
12. I Thought She Knew- This song was one of the first songs the group actually sang together. It is done is a cappella (No music just their beautiful voices) and it is dont perfectly as well. This song will leave you in awe if you didn't think *N Sync could sing in the first place.
Well I hope that this will help you and encourages you to buy the CD which in about 8 million peoples(how many of this CD has been sold) opinion is a great CD all around. And if you have the chance to, check out the No Strings Attached tour....it is so very awesome! Peace out and stay crunk

Essential Bowie- Get it!

Hunky Dory is the most pop-influenced of David Bowie's albums, but by no means in a bad way. This was the first David Bowie album I ever bought, and it's the one that got me hooked. Many of my of my all-time favorite Bowie songs are on this CD- Changes, Oh! You Pretty Things, Life on Mars?, Kooks and Andy Warhol. If you are already a Bowie fan and you don't have this CD, what are you waiting for? -- this is definitely one of the essential albums. If you don't have anything by him, Hunky Dory is a great intro CD (after that I'd recommend Low, Space Oddity & The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust).
P.S. I urge everyone to go to David Bowie's own creation, davidbowie.com-- you can hear his new (unreleased) songs, see photos of him as a kid, ask him questions, learn about new artists & books, and read "journal" entries and messages from the man himself. Go check it out.

Still going strong after 50

This was one of those albums I had to listen to several times before I decided whether or not I even liked it. Although already a huge fan of Bowie's earlier work, I found it once again to be a little bit of a transition to acclimate myself to his new experimental stab at techno and industrial. For the record, I'm extremely glad that I gave this album a chance as it is entirely excellent.
This album is definitely a departure from the music that Bowie wrote before it, with the possible exception of a handfull of tracks on the gothic "Outside". In typical Bowie fashion, "Earthling" finds him experimenting with newer musical trends, which he then fuses with his own unique style and lyrics.
Although receiving mixed critical reviews, the album offers several great songs. "I'm afraid of americans" was both a radio and MTV hit... quite rare for a 50-something artist. "Little Wonder" gets the album off to a great start, "Satellite" has quirky lyrics, but a great beat, and my personal favorite "Seven Years in Tibet" is just plain haunting. Although several tracks are rather lengthy, there's no filler material on this album and the songs are as long as they need to be.
One of the biggest complaints I have heard about this album is that it is destined not to age well.... which I personally think is just silly. A great song is a great song, and this album's got 9 of them. Bowie delivers, and fans will not be disappointed.
