Not as good as I thought it would be

I guess, like Hairspray and other such musicals, this is one of those musicals that you must SEE ON STAGE in order to enjoy it. I don't doubt that it was wonderful to see live, but I have never seen it live and don't really enjoy the humor as much as those who have seen it live. The story is a creative and interesting one- it is about a place in which you now have to pay to pee because private toilets are illegal since there is a shortage of water, and it is illegal to pee outside or in jars in your own house. The police keep tabs on when you go to the public restroom, and you must pay for it. The poor people are angry about this and start a revolution, but it doesn't work out. It has a couple of enjoyable songs, but most of the songs are more annoying than enjoyable. This is one of those things that you must see live, so unless you have seen this live, you can pass this one up. I would actually like to get the ten dollars back that I paid for it on i Tunes, but alas, no returns obviously. For true fans only!

Title: The Ultimate Collection
Label: Motown / Pgd
Artist: David Ruffin
Rating: 5/5
Customer rating - 5 out of 5
Ruffin was a stellar talent.

David Ruffin The Ultimate Collection is a fantastic exploration of one of Motown's most talented performers. Ruffin's vocal skills are a dynamic example of what true soul singing is all about. From the pure energy of his seventie's smash, "Walk away From Love," to his treatment of Harold Melvin and The Blue Notes' classic ballad, "I Miss You," Ruffin is a sorely underappreciated vocalist.

Wonderful...Typical of Zimmer

I love the music because it is soothing where appropriate and dramatic as well. The song "There You'll Be" sung by Faith Hill is beautiful and any country or pop fan of her's should pick up the album for that reason. It is a must have. For those of you who dog the fact that the tralier music is not on the soundtrack, well, that's because it is from the movie "The Thin Red Line" so pick that up if you want it so bad. Typically when a trailer is released, the movie is still in production or postproduction, which involves the writing of the soundtrack. Zimmer proclaimed that this was a difficult soundtrack to write and that's probably why the music from the movie was not used in the trailer. Let's face it people, not every soundtrack always has all of the music. Take "Forrest Gump" for example. Many songs in the movie didn't appear on the soundtrack. It is all up to the artist to release permission. So don't be so picky. I rest my case. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because it was short, so instead, I just put the cd on repeat all the time.
