best children's music you'll ever find!

My 2 1/2 year old son loves all of the albums, but this one is all of our favorites. We just saw Dan and friends in concert in the fall and it was an amazing show!

This music is so much fun and I love how they take old standards and breathe new life into them.

This is definitely "cool" kid's music. If you are a hip parent, you need to check this out!

Greatest ever

Let me state first that I have never been a big fan of Michael Jackson. And when this album was released in '82, I though that it was extremely overhyped. But I'll say that twenty or so years later, this is the single best album I have ever heard. Every song stands on its own. And the one song, Baby Be Mine, that got the least airplay in the '80s can arguably be considered one of the best two or three songs on the album. the best and worst songs on the album are not that far apart. You can't say that about too many albums. Classic is an understatement. Greatest album ever assembled.

Groundbreaking

Ok, so i am not the greatest fan of techno or dance music but this album is really awesome. Sound is gloomy, sometimes nihilstic but mainly dark. All the tracks are equaly good, maybe those which weren't singles even better than the ones which were, but anyway whole album has a great undergroundish sound mixed with very catchy beats. I especially love the great chill out song - "2 kilos". If you are looking for a good album to which you can both dance to and listen from your armchair this is it. And it surpases much to overrated "Fat of the Land", actually it's 10 times better..at least...

This soundtrack is great thanks to Diana!

The ICE PRINCESS OST is your typical Disney movie soundtrack - mostly artists who are somewhat unknown or get most of their promotion from Disney Channel. I really enjoyed listening to the ICE PRINCESS OST, though, because it's fun music that you don't have to worry about anyone getting offended by.

Standout tracks:
*Get Your Shine On (Jesse McCartney) - If you have the Beautiful Soul CD, you've heard this song, and I hear there's a music video for it on the Disney Channel. I love it, it's a fast-paced song that's fun to dance to and sing along with.
*You Set Me Free (Michelle Branch) - Though this song is a bit older, I still love it. Michelle Branch has great vocals and the song has really pretty lyrics.
*Just A Dream (Jump5) - I'm a huge Jump5 fan, so I was really excited to see that they had a song on the ICE PRINCESS OST. Just A Dream is one of my favorites on their new CD, and I think the vocals are fantastic! Every teenager/pre-teen can relate to this song, as well.

The rest of the songs on the ICE PRINCESS OST are great (especially Diana DeGarmo's song, and the Caliegh Peters song "Reach" - which has a video on Disney Channel as well). Highly recommended.

Overall grade - B
