Perfect!

The whole Cd goes well till Cretu butts in, the awesome Church choir hymn is back and there are other neat tracks. No complaints but for Cretu's singing which breaks the flow... :)

Sooooo sensual

When I first heard this album I was totally blown away. I did not know who Ricky Martin was and now that I know who he is, I am impressed with his music. I love listening to it a lot because he lefts up my spirit. I recommend that everyone should listen to this album. In addition, he is so good looking and with his music it adds more than just what he writes and sings.

Sonic Excellence

This is one of the best CD's I own. If you must compare it to Felt Mountain then think of it as a comparrison between sex on bottom and sex on top, both are great. I don't even want to try and over-think this album because the sheer joy lof listening to something so powerfully transportational cannot be eclisped by fumbling analysis. Listen, just buy the record and if you want you can name your first-born after me as a small way of saying thanks fer the heads up.

True Women

I felt the cast of this movie portrayed their characters quite well (if a little on the melodramatic side), however, I could not get past all the historical inaccuracies. I am not a native Texan, but I know the history of this time period and this area well, and know that this movie takes quite a few liberties with how things actually happened. I have not read the book and do not know if the inaccuracies were the film maker's attempt to make things more dramatic, or if the flawed portrayal of this time period is reflected in the novel as well (I hope not). Historically inaccurate movies are always a disappointment because they misrepresent the events of their given day and time, and make people believe that this is how things actually took place. Considering the stellar cast that was involved in this film, it is a shame that the story told was not the "real thing". Perhaps, someday, they'll get it right.
