Best of Genre

Trust me, you won't hear better piano based music than this! John is a true genius! Very artistic and moving songs, that capture the true essence of inspirational and uplifting music while soothing the soul.

Aging like a fine wine

For me nothing will ever compare with "Land of the bottom line" but this is definitely Gorka at his best and one of the best folk cd's of the year!

This Sucks!

This has to be the worst album I have ever purchased. There was only one song that I liked and on all the others she sounded like a dying whale. Give it up J-Lo.

Gotta love hardcore POP

Having quite the cultured palate when it comes to bubble-gum teenage tummy-baring music, I had a good feeling about Dream just as far as production value after only hearing "He Loves U Not," so I was happy to discover that the rest of the album definitely maintains the same level of manufactured, sugar sweet, perfect for listening too loudly in the car sound. It's all catchy, sing-along music, a'la Brit, great to boogey to. I'm still a little puzzled by the fixation they have with making sure you know their names, by the fourth track you've already heard the "Ashley, Melissa, Diana, yadda yadda" spiel three times or so, but I suppose these girls are on a mission to become household names (Like Justin, Christina, etc)...interesting technique to toss in lots of spoken dialogue (although not completely original, I do remember a certain answering machine narrative and a telephone gossip-fest on "Oops! I Did it Again), but I can't complain. If you buy the cd because you're into "He Loves U Not," you won't be disappointed, the songs have all got a certain danceable continuity, the lyrical depth is just about right given the amount of concentration you're likely to feel like pouring into a group whose members are all wearing pink on the case. It's good, straight up pop, just what I was looking for, gotta say, these gals have got some personality, and Puffy definitely lends a certain credibility to their production, it's all good.
