Trane and Julie Andrews just too much!

I hate the title track, and everything about the movie, The Sound of Music, viscerally, and I can't enjoy the title track because every time I hear it I think of that movie. Seriously, though, I feel this album is the single most overrated record in the entire jazz canon. I much prefer other Trane records from this time frame, such as Coltrane's Sound, and Coltrane Plays the Blues. There is just something pretentious and depressing about this record. Why did he play THAT song? I hate that song!

Good Collection of hits

Well lets see im a fan of music period. Im a 19/m who believes in the talent of the Backstreet Boys. I really do feel that there is something different between these guys and the other ones who try to COPY them. I hate manufactured and contrived music. In the beginning i used to dispise these guys. Then when i heard "I Want It That Way" I couldnt believe how good that sounded. Yeah i know they didnt write the song but the way it was sung was amazing. Thats when BSB won me over. They are the ONLY pop group i respect and admire their work. If you like pop music sung with feeling and emotion then the BSB are for you. These guys deserve everything, they REALLY are the most talented boyband since the Jackson 5. When their next album drops you'll see how talented these guys are. They are writing their music and playing instruments on their album. Lets just hope the music will be good.

This whole CD RoCKS! (I Can't Stop Listening To It)

This album has a lot of hits. I love this album. It has my favorites, I still listen it to it today and I got it 2 years ago. It's constantly in rotation in my CD player. My favorites are I Wanna Be Your Lover, Rasberry Beret, U Got The Look, The Pope, Cream (Get On ToP!), Controversy, Dirty Mind, Little Red Corvette, oh, I'll just admit it, THE WHOLE CD IS OUTSTANDING! Worth the money! I listened to this CD so much, that it started skipping and it got all scratched up and everything because it never stayed in the CD case from being played so much! I also recommend Janet Jackson's The Velvet Rope.

Charlotte Charlotte...

First of all, I must say that Charlotte has one of the most gorgeous and soothing voices in the world. Like one of her albums says, "Voice of an Angel" that is exactly what her voice is. It shocks me to read the big critics people have to say about Charlotte. I agree that each mind is a different world and that it is impossible to keep everyone content. I think that if someone demands much more from a person, the demanding individual must be able to perform at such expectations. It seems to me that Charlotte performs from her heart and soul for the people that listen to her. Despite what other individuals may say about her voice, I am a sincere and persistant follower of Charlotte. She may be an idol for many, just like other people follow other musicians and have respect for them, I have my own respect for Charlotte and the way she performs. Indeed, her voice is still developing and it will take another shape from within her start. But, thanks to that first impression she made on many, people will not forget how she began and follow her throughout her change. "Prelude" refers to the best of Charlotte Church up till now, not that it will be the last of her best. This album is very enjoyable to the contemporary/classical music listeners. Last, Charlotte, smoking is not a very wise choice a singer can make. Slowly, but surely, it will ruin a voice and bring it to a lower level of professionalism. Not only your voice is at risk, but also your own health. We want you among us for a long long time from now. P.S. I myself have high goals to become the next "Placido Domingo" and am looking forward to bring you some competition. *Smiles*
