Jazz album of the CENTURY gets better

Nothing more can be added to what's already been said about the contents of this album.
Over the years, apart from the original 1959 issue of Columbia's vinyl LP, there has been at least four versions of CDs issued by the same label. None of those, including the "Mastersound Digital Re-master" version, come anywhere close to the quality of sound available on the present Sony Super-Bit-Mapping re-mastered version. It brings these wonderful musicians right into your listening den.
Definite audiophile stuff.

The DRone DronEs On...and on and on and on....

Do you wish that you could listen to 30 minute plus chorus of electric razors? Are you moved by the spin cycle on your washing machine..? Do you like to meditate beneath a perpetually buzzing streetlight? If not, this IS NOT the recording for you. If you do crave and intense and endless drone, you'll love this one. If you're in New York, check out La Monte Young's Dream House. After a visit there, you'll crave more of the drone. This album gives me vivid dreams that I can touch smell and taste while they are happening, yet I can never remember them when they are over. It sets the tone for a unique psychological adventure...but only if you are ready to partake.

Essential music compiled with unusually great care

A great set with sensible programming, beautifully crisp sound, and a price that vastly beats buying the individual albums CD-by-CD. I like the decision to present the original albums in their proper running order : disc 1 is "The Rod Stewart Album" and "Gasoline Alley", disc 2 is "Every Picture Tells a Story" and "Never a Dull Moment", disc 3 is (after "Pinball Wizard" from the LSO Tommy album) "Smiler" followed by non-LP tracks. Most of those LPs were sequenced with great care and effect and this set preserves their integrity. Stewart in those days was a great interpretive singer with folkish leanings and excellent taste in selecting and assembling his albums. This is an essential addition to any classic rock collection.

THE WAY this album SHINES is wonderful!

After listening exclusively to Clay's AI2 music since May, no one was more anxious for this album than I was. While I am a little bit older fan who is anxious to hear Clay sing and record "classics", this album is superb! There is not one single song on MOAM that I dislike, but it impossible to choose just one favorite. My title above will give away two of my favorites, and Invisible will always be among my favorites since I heard Clay perform it for the very first time at the St. Paul concert. Clay can send that song, and his fans, into orbit! And I still listen to all Clay, all the time. That voice never ceases to thrill, amaze, and melt me. There's something in the
