An excellent new score for the new Jurassic Park movie.

Steven Spielberg's sequel to his megahit Jurassic Park was a tad darker in look and feel that the thrill ride movie that proceeded it. His longtime composing partner John Williams created a pounding, threatening and utterly perfect score for it. Williams, like he did for the underrated Jaws 2, kept only a theme or two from his previous score and used them sparingly, instead focusing his energies on creating entirely new themes to give this all new adventure a different musical character; one that is superior to the sound of the first movie, in my opinion. Highly recommended to monster movie music fans.

haunt me

this cd is a true revelation. every track has its own ambience and special hue. with nuance and styles to spare, goldfrapp has given us something that is at once retro, and decisively futuristic. hopelessly romantic and devastating in its atmospheric beauty, this has to be one of the best releases from the year 2000. thank you so much for reading.

Superb Follow-up

It wasn't going to be easy to follow up the musical genius shown on "The Attraction To All Things Uncertain", but Chris & Clint have done it with "2 a.m. Wakeup Call". This album is fantastic from start to finish. The music is darker, the vocal tracks more intimate, and the theme flows perfectly throughout. If you can appreciate music, then listen to Tweaker instead of mainstream garbage that is 90% of radio these days. Overall, an excellent follow-up.
Standout tracks: Ruby, Cauterized, It's Still Happening, 2 a.m., Sleepwalking Away
