MJ's best to date

Michael Jackson is a true and often overlooked musical genius. He has consitently proven his musical and lyrical versatility throughout the years, and Dangerous is his ultamite statement. His voice soars through the CD with fresh, original music, and touching lyrics. I have always had an enormous amount of respect for artists who can find something good about this world to say, because Lord knows it isn't easy. It takes alot to care and to love, and Michael has done this. It seems that artists before him who have done this, and united people in harmony have been taken from us (John Lennon, Freddie Mercury). It is hard to imagine what will eventually become of Mr. Jackson. And it is even harder to imagine what music wouldn't have been without him. He is a man who is undoubtedly touched by God, and like most geniuses... misunderstood.

A great and awesome CD!!

Her CD is wonderful. And for those of you that take exception to her image and impression on young girls, don't look at it. She is not here to parent your children but just entertain them with song. If she is their role model, then you have more important concerns than Christina's clothing or lack thereof. This is about music! Just imagine this CD BEFORE the age of music video. It would STILL get radio play unlike many of her so called peers! Britney can't carry a note in a bucket and Mandy WHO??? I like that she is confident enough to be and look the way she wants despite the critics. Her voice is unmatched in the world of teen popdem. She has something that others don't-staying power. Keep singing Christina! Do your thing!

Another amazing step

Until his last CD (the Global Underground Hong Kong one) I was never a big fan of John Digweed. I'm not really sure what posessed me to pick it up. But I did and it completely took me by suprise. I loved it. So when I happened to see that this was out I picked it up immeadiately.
So far I think this is the best new CD that I've picked up this year. While I wasn't as thrilled with the beginning of the first CD it definitely grooves. The one part though that put me in love with this CD was the mix from Inner laugh to Way Out West's The Fall, and finally into the Amityville Dub of Quivver's One Last time. It completely wrapped around me and I loved it (It reminded me of the sequence on the Hong Kong CD with the medway remix of into deep).
If you are a fan of the new deep techy/housey trance sound this CD is definitely for you.

Encore!!

If this is the final chapter in the Destiny's Child saga... what a great way to end. This ablum, although short, shows a great range of these three ladies talents. It actually allows you to get to know each lady on a personal level due to them writing their own parts in each song. The ablum itself tells a story of woman and her journey in love. It starts out with the halftime, battle of the bands enfused first single "lose my breath." This song is traditional destiny's child and is a great way to re-enter the industry as a trio. Their second single "solider" brings along my boyz T.I. and Lil Wayne which helps cultivate a monsterous club banger. But from their true musiq lovas are in for a treat. The single-radio ready "cater 2 u" shows these three independent ladies vunerably side, the man that loves them. From here the CD goes headlong into midtempo territory. From the sensual "t-shirt" to the jay-z like track "is she the reason" (this beat is so raw, i'm waiting on a remix with someone spittin all over it!!)these ladies soar through this steller effort.

"destiny fulfilled" also brings us a first in this trio, which is beyonce compeletly taking a back seat in the studio. "bad habit" showcase's ms. kelly rowland at the bat for lead vocals and she does a great job i might add. "if" is heaven for all those musiq lovas who go crazy over great vocals and harmonies, but until you reach the mario winans-produced "through with love" you haven't heard destiny's child ever pour out so much emotion into a track. beyonce starts the song and carries it halfway passing the lead to kelly. from there ms. williams shows us what she is really capable of when she gets some "lead-time." michelle puts the final wraps on the song by procalliming her new found love in GOD.

In nutshell, this album is a masterpiece. It has great production, vocals, and by far is one of the best release in 2004. Go out and cop this one and get ready for a musical on wax.

ONE and keep listening...
