I will Cherish this collection

I really love all of Madonna's music but especially this one collection. This was the 3rd album of hers that I ever bought except for a couple singles from Like A Prayer. My favorites are Cherish, Crazy For You, Express Yourself, and Into the Groove. Go check this one out. You won't be sorry you did.

You REALLY have to be a fan

I do love me some John Mellencamp. Really I do. And I was initially delighted to learn of this release. And the remastered sound is awesome.

But...this is some pretty weak material here. Except for I Need a Lover (which is virtually identical to the version we all know and love), there isn't one song I felt like I wanted to listen to again. You can tell John and his band are TRYING to make a hard rockin' record, but the execution is so sloppy, you wonder if it was worth the effort.

Recommended only for hardcore fans. I consider myself one, but I'd much rather have a remastered disc of Chestnut Street.

outspoken, irreverent, and necessary

When I first heard David Cross I thought immediately of Bill Hicks. Their voices kind of sound the same, and Cross continues the socio-political commentary that Bill Hicks continued from George Carlin, Richard Pryor, Lenny Bruce, et al. Some of the stuff David says is jaw-dropping, not because he says it, but because it's true. It's important to have at least one contemporary comedian who can rise above fart jokes to make fun of John Ashcroft, bad art in the name of September 11, and the pope.

An adult N'SYNC fan speaks out

As an adult interested in a large amount of music, I must say thanks to N'SYNC for a great new album. Everyone knows that the music isn't set out to be Mozart, but for an upcoming group it is wonderful. With harmonies that put the all in unison BSB to shame, and the ability to actually sing live, I loved it. I think the use of a number of different producers expanded thier range and displayed the talent this group actually has. This is the only "boy band", if you would call them that, that has the talent for staying power. Good Luck guys!
