The Unplugged Collection

This is a wonderful tape of John's most popular songs. I highly recommend it.

One of my "desert island disks."

I go the CD and loved it, and immediately bought a cassette to send to my sister who was overseas at the time. She was a big DD fan in the 80's, but I wasn't. This CD proves they aren't just show-off pretty boys. I thought I was the only one who liked it!

A CD To Have

A friend of mine told me I had to get Brian's latest. I bought if just from what my friend said and also because of Brian's past work. I am very pleased with this CD. It just may be his best work as far as I am concerned. The first two tracks "Somethin Bout Love" and "Do You Really Love Me" are exciting standard openings for most of our jazz performers. But Secret Gardens, both instrumental and with Howard Hewitt singing the lyrics transcends this CD to the next level. My favorite song is track 7, "It's only You". This songs goes beyond the normal cookie cutter sound and gives a new flavor and vibe. This is a great CD if you are a Culbertson fan and a fan of good smooth jazz

Best Multi-Remix CD Maxi-Single I've heard in a while

I love CD maxi-singles with more than one remix, but usually there's at least one remix I could've done without. Not so with "Die Another Day." I think EVERY remix is great. All stay "true" to the original version, but each sounds fresh when compared with the others. I first listened to this maxi-single straight through in my car on a long trip -- you would think I'd get tired of the song after hearing six versions of it in a row, but I didn't.
My favorite remixes are the Dirty Vegas Main Mix (Track #2) and Brother Brown's Bond-Age Club mix (Track #6), but the other three are great, too.
