great

I am shocked at the variance in responses to this album.....I like it alot and think with every album she only gets better and better. I will admit that some of the lyrics are a little cheesey and take a while to get used to but I think this album is much better that Ray Of Light and more coherant than Music. Some songs took a while to grow on me but now I am addicted to this album....It's weird that some people like certain songs and not others...I think "I'm so Stupid" is one of the best songs of her career.....I love that and Love Profusion and Nobody Knows me. This album is fresh and original and I can overlook the cheesy lyrics in some songs and enjoy it for what it is ...well crafted pop songs...I can't wait to see what videos she come up with to go with the songs....I think the fact that the American Life controversy may have given people a bad impression of the album....But it is fantastic and fun. Hollywood is a great 2nd single...I can't wait.

The darker side of Eno

When this came out, I was so used to "Discrete Music" and the previous "Music for Airports" that I had a goodly bit of trouble wrapping my head around this set of rumbly, dark, murky atmospherics. But over the years, I've come to have a special love for this release. This is not the Satie-like ambient of those other two works, but rather like a soundtrack recording for a very obscure, dark film in which most action (action?) is obscured or is occuring just off-lens. Swampy, midnight music. Whereas it's easy to describe some other Eno works, this thing, even some 20 or so years on, defies adequate description. Suffice to say, it's something worth having for most anyone, especially if you're someone who often finds yourself awake at 2-3 AM and have trouble finding music for just that 'certain atmosphere' for the time of day. A singular, beautiful, and intriguing release.

Slicker Than Your Averagy

I think this album was alittle more challenging for Craig David to complete simply because his "Born to Do It" was so successful. This album is much more diverse and gives us more of an idea of Craig's musical style. I think it also shows us that Craig has some real singing talent. He has such a wonderful and soothing voice. So overall, I think this is a great album. I love the fact that he took such a risk on having so many different types of beats and styles and put it all into one album. In this album he is giving us a synopsis of his style and what he likes, therefore letting us enjoy it too.

Pure trance pleasure.

I love technotrance, and have been veering away from Trance Nation and Dream Dance...This was my first time really sampling DJ Tiesto's work, and i have to say he really can tear it up on the turntable...He really develops each mix, rather than just hearing a repeat of an anthem 10 times on one track. I was pleasantly surprised, and plan to get more of his stuff.
What I love about this cd, almost every track is a "favorite"It's really worth double its cost. Don't hesitate to buy this one, folks!!!
