Madonna: Music (2000)

In 1998, Madonna had been welcomed back into the arms of her adoring fans when she released the album, "Ray Of Light". We loved the new look and the new sound. We craved for more. We yelled and screamed for more.

On September 19, 2000, Madonna gave us more when she released her twelfth album, "Music". Just by looking at the album's front cover and watching the video to the album's first single, "Music", we were blown away again to find a new look: The New Millennium Urban Cowboy "Puff Daddy" Pimp-ette look. When he heard the first single to the album, "Music", the album's title track, our ears screamed, "Crank that up and start dancing", for it was a new sound: The New Millennium Techno Futuristic Club Dance Music sound. This album is beyond amazing.

MUSIC
The first single from the album. When I watched this video when it premiered on VH1 for the first time, I sat there with a smile upon my face. I loved the new look and new sound and I knew that both the single and the album were gonna be a blast. If you think many of Madonna's dance tracks got you up and dancing, you have no idea, for this song will get you up on your feet and you will not once want to sit down or even think about sitting down.

IMPRESSIVE INSTANT
Aside from "Music", this is another one of the best songs on the album. It's a song that contains that energetic vibe that will grab your body and make you dance your a** off until you drop.

RUNAWAY LOVER
The entire album was produced by French producer & DJ, Mirwais Ahmadzai. But for this track, Madonna recruited producer, William Orbit, who produced her "Ray Of Light" album. This song is absolutely out of this world. The beat is amazing and I recommend to ever DJ out there to play this at least once every night at your local clubs.

I DESERVE IT
Madonna put the New Millennium Futuristic Club Techno Dance sound aside for a little. This song is more on the sides of a country-western song. Madonna had written this song for British film director, Guy Ritchie, who Madonna began dating a year after the release of "Ray Of Light". The two were married on December 23, 2000. This is a great song, with a mellow country-western vibe.

AMAZING
Another song that features a beat that is sure to get you on you feet. Madonna knows what song is best to feature a dancing beat, especially on this one.

NOBODY'S PERFECT
A song that not only fits this album, but a song that would also fit the "Ray Of Light" album. It features uplifting lyrics, a smooth sound of music, and Madonna's soothing voice.

DON'T TELL ME
The second single from the album. Madonna had already experimented with a country-western sound when she recorded "I Deserve It", but she was not done with it. "I Deserve It" is a country-western ballad; "Don't Tell Me" is a country-western dance tune. This song is absolutely incredible and it is obvious that this song is an undestroyable classic. Even my father enjoys listening to this song.

WHAT IT FEELS LIKE FOR A GIRL
The third & final single from the album. Madonna had already seen two of her videos banned from MTV and VH1. The first video was "Justify My Love", which was banned from any airplay whatsoever. Sire Records then released that video on VHS. The second video was "Erotica", but that video was banned from daytime airplay. "What It Feels Like For A Girl" became Madonna's third music video to be banned by MTV and VH1. This video showed us a side of Madonna that nobody, not even her fans or hateful critics, has ever seen before: A violent Madonna. The song was remixed into several remixes, but Madonna chose the "Above & Beyond 12" Club Mix" remix of this song to use for her video. The video is too amazing to describe here. But this song is unbelievable.

PARADISE (NOT FOR ME)
We have already heard Madonna speak in a different language when she recorded the song "Shanti (Ashtangi)" for her "Ray Of Light" album. This song here is all in English, but there's a verse where Madonna speaks in French. This is a great song, but it has that creepy vibe to it. The same sort of creepy vibe that was featured on "Mer Girl".

GONE
By far one of the best country western songs on this album. I cannot help, but listen to this one over and over.

This album is absolutely amazing in every way, shape, and form. I can't help it when I play this album over and over again. If you buy a copy of this album for yourself, you'll be playing it over and over agan as well, and don't forget that it will have you dancing all night long, and I mean all not long.

One Mre Chance Is CLASSIC MADONNA

OMC I s a great Cd single from Madonna. Only released over seas, it includes a spanish version of You'll See, along with a Spanglish mix of You'll see. It takes you back to the feeling of what the album Something to remember was all about. A defenite must have for any fan, and a dissapointment for Americans because we never had this masterpiece as a single
