Christina Kicks... on her New CD!

This has probably been one of the most awaited cd's all year long. I am glad to say that it has been worth the wait. This cd is all around excellent in vocals, production, lyrics, and all of the songs strongly relate. Christina has one of the best voices I have ever heard, and never oversings unlike some other diva's. Stronger moments on this cd include "Walk Away", "Fighter", and the beautiful "Beautiful". Anyone can relate to the song "Beautiful", and knowing all of the jealousy this young lady has saw she is not going to let anyone bring her down because she is beautiful no matter what they say. A personal favorite of mines "Impossible" along with Alicia Keys shows a R&B side of Xtina, this is Aretha Franklin material. Well I couldn't possible run out of good things to say about this album... BUY THE CD!!!!

This is an absolutely amazing album.

I mean, i'm just getting started on the whole jazz scene, so i don't know much, but this guy has got some serious grooves on this album. Everything, the way he phrases his licks, the harmonies, the progressions, everything is just gorgeous. This is one of those cds i could actually stand to listen to on loop for hours and hours. Buy it. You won't regret it, i promise you.

Best example of Coltrane's vivid stylings

Begining to end, the best example of Coltrane's ability to unstructure standards into new dimensions. Coltrane tempts the listener into free jazz expressions, yet never loses the theme along the way. Excellent choice for any jazz taste.

Five stars? Try TEN. Fifty?

"Born To Run" is one of the greatest albums of all time, and that fact is inarguable. The only question is how many albums you'll put on the list. Any list with more than ten, without this one, is clearly in error. It is an album where a single listen will convince you.The cinematic sweep, from "Thunder Road" to "Jungleland", makes you feel like you're watching a movie while listening. The epic nature and true storylines makes you feel like you're reading a classic novel.I ask you, what album have you ever listened to, that elicits a sensation of music, film and literature simultaneously? It's breathtaking. And ageless as well. You know how old black & white movies seem crisp and eternal, while, say, certain 70's movies have a dated feel...even though they may be GREAT 70's movies?"Born To Run" hasn't aged one iota. It's as impressive now as it must have been in 1975. It's an album that sounds just as good in your car as it does on your headphones. From Roy Bittan's piano opening "Thunder Road" to Springsteen's anguished howl ending "Jungleland", you will have gone somewhere. Bruce and the band takes you on a journey...GOD I'm jealous that some of you haven't heard this yet! I'd like to watch someone listen to it for the first time...I'm telling ya, this is simply one of the great musical experiences of all time.
