Best CD that I own

Truly the best CD that i have in my possession. Five Years is a glorious crescrendo of mastery. You can listen to it over and over again, and know all the words, and listen to it some more...still great. Soul Love has an excellent saxophone, and while not the best song on the album, it is still very cool. Moonage Daydream seems to me to be about an acid trip, and it's awesome to sing along to: "I'm an alligator/I'm a momma pappa calling for you/I'm a space invader." Starman is my least favorite song on the album but it is still a fabulous song, one that will play in your head. "It Ain't Easy" has great lyrics "It ain't easy to get to heaven/when you're going down" and though some may not like it, it's one of my favorites. "Lady Stardust" is a very glam song, and "STar" is fabulous to rock out to. "Hang on to yourself" very fast-paced, seems like Ziggy is playing it. Then "Ziggy Stardust" very emotional and you can't help singing to the chorus, excellent song, brilliant. "Suffragette city" the well known rock song with mind blowing guitars and soloing and then the best song on the album "Rock n roll Suicide" which always makes me want to cry.

Title: Northern Exposure II: West Coast
Label: Ultra Records
Artist: Sasha & John Digweed
Rating: 5/5

Some of the best mixing I've heard

The "west coast" volume of this second Northern Exposure release is mixed by John Digweed (the east coast cd is mixed by Sasha) and comprises a series of German trance anthems mixed to perfection. This is quite simply one of the best mixed trance cd's ever released, and offers an excellent introduction to this melodic and rhythmic genre that is so little-known in the United States. It includes some of the most popular trance "anthems" that came out of Germany in 1996 in 1997, such as "Netherworld" by LSG (Oliver Lieb), "3.2" by Humate, "Enervate" by Transa, and "Blue Fear" by Armin. A fabulous mix!

Her best yet!

I LOVE this CD. I haven't listened to Whitney in years because I didn't really like what she was singing before. But this CD is excellent, she shows how much talent she really has. One of my favorite CD's!!

Title: A Pocketful of Rain
Label: Texas Music Group
Artist: Michael Fracasso

The best undiscovered musician in America.

I've been listening to Michael Fracasso for almost ten years, because I love his raw tenor voice. This is far and away the best album that he has ever made. I am listening to it over and over again and it only gets better. It's so good that it defies genre; it's folk but it's better than folk, and it's roots but better than roots. The only thing that I can compare this to is Lucinda Williams' Car Wheels on A Gravel Road. It's on that level.
