Absolutely Breathtaking!

The self-titled album Josh Groban is not only relaxing to the ear but also uplifting to the spirit. I feel as though I can listen to it while driving, at work or even knitting because his voice is incredabily mezmorizing. It is as much relaxing, as it is moving. I have actualy improved my Italian while learning the words and their translations to the many Italian ballads found on this CD. I think that anyone could adapt to this music, becuase it includes some rock, some pop and even a little techno-pop all with a classical influence to calm things down. I love it!

I am hooked to Russell Watson

Its a happy coincidence that I came to like this CD. I just bought it to get "Va, pensiero, the first track after I heard him it singing on the Good Morning America Show, and I was familiar with the song "Volare".
One day when the CD woke me up as my alarm, I didn't shut it off and ended up listening to the entire CD. After that day I have been hooked to Russell Watson. The entire CD is enjoyable.

Really not as Great

After being amazed by his fantastic first album, I have to totally agree with Villekulla. It's just not as great.
The first was such an amazing breath of fresh air on an otherwise tepid children's music scene; something adults and kids could all enjoy and sing along with.
But this one falls into the typical traps associated with kids music: - overproduced: too much orchestra and not enough spunk - too much kids singing: where did adults get the idea that kids like to hear other kids singing? - talking down to kids - weaker material, even the stuff not composed by Lithgow
For the record, Lithgow's composition Big Kids Scare the Heck Out of Me is one of the highlights of the first album, so he's got the knack. But all of these songs, rather than being catchy and engaging, sort of pat the children on the head and send them to bed with a cool detatched manner.
Grab the first one. Do not pass it up.
But this one, you can skip.

Dan Lambert is the bomb!

Dan's music is the best thing going right now, the skill and artistry that goes into each album is pure magic. Everyone who has any type of commute should have at least two!
