Fabulous

This compliation of Rod Stewarts work is the best that there is. I read another person's review of it and they didn't like songs on there from the 80's like, "Love Touch" and "Infatuation". Well my friend, those songs happen to be icon songs of the 80's. If you don't like "Pop Rock", then I suggest you listen to something stupid from the 60's. Rod's best work was done in the 80's and my two favorites of his happen to be "Love Touch" and "Infatuation" they epitimize the use of synthesizers and guitars riffs to the extreme. So if you have just started your Rod Stewart collection, this is the cd compliation to purchase. After about 1990, Rod's music went to the sewer with his 90's trendy unplugged versions... So if you love 70's and 80's Rod, then buy this, its awesome and in Rod's own words, it will keep you "Forever Young".

Title: I've Always Been Crazy: A Tribute to Waylon Jennings

This is horrible at best

You have got to be kidding me. Waylon is all about Texas country. The only people that are singing on this album is a bunch of Nashvile high-rollers. Mellencamp singing Are You Sure Hank Done It This Way? is pathetic.Where's Cory Morrow and Pat Greens version of the song? It is by far the best remake of the song. If you would like to hear a good version of the sound get Full Exposure by Cory Morrow. My second reason this is a terrible remake of a song is Kenny Chesney's remake of Luckenback Texas. That song is one of the greatest texas country songs of all times. Why on earth is he singing it? No one but Willie should beable to sing that song. All Kenny did was butcher a true great song. He just needs that keep singing about how his tractor's sexy! This is a overall horrible album that I wouldn't even waste my computer's memory on moreless spend [money] for!

WHAT HAPPENED???

I really liked the Destiny's child songs, I loved Survivor, Bootylicious, Independent women. I looooved Beyonce's debut, Crazy in love is one of the greatest songs in R&B, so when I hard that another Destiny's album was coming out I was excited. Lose my breatch was a kick - a$$ single and I expected the albbum to be like that, boy was I wrong!!! WHAT HAPPENED TO THE INDEPENDENT WOMEN, now they are talking about needing a soldier that carries big thing if you know what they mean, to wear their man's t- shirt, I wanted a lot more beats not so many ballads!!! There are a few songs who save the cd like Girl and If, but all in overall is a HUGE dissapointment, bring back the independent and fun women!!!

Emelyne in Love

I bought this CD 2 years ago and I have been amazed by the sound and mood that this CD can provide since the first time I listened to it. The melody, the arrangement, and Beth's voice are such an astonishing combination that it is liked a "sonic painting" in my head when I listen to it with my eyes close. One of my best friend who is visually-impaired had told me that Portishead's music make him 'see' in his head. I absolutely believe what he said. The sound of this CD is and has been so unique that it just gets better and better with time. Even though there are many groups might have tried to inmitate them consciously or unconsciously, like Lamb, Hooverphonic, or Morcheeba, (I like them all too), they can't come close to create the sonic effect that Portishead had able to create. I like their second CD too, but "Dummy" is just better! I can't forget the time when I was driving in a raining night alone on a highway in Boston and was listening to "Road", and "Sour Times". Beth's voice sent chill down my spine. It is just an unbelievable album. I can't say more how good it is!
