Title: Gotta Get Thru This
Label: Island
Artist: Daniel Bedingfield
Rating: 5/5
Customer rating - 5 out of 5
Gotta Get Thru This - An album that grows on you.

Daniel Bedingfield's first album is stunning. The diversity and quality of his music as well as the depth of the lyrics on some of the titles are unique and refreshing. His voice and energy reach into your soul like little else can and, without a doubt, track 9 "honest questions" is devastatingly moving: it leaves you standing; you stop everything you're doing and listen to it over and over again. His voice is simply incredible. What Daniel Bedingfield has successfully accomplished are very different songs for different moods and this album is therefore likely to reach music lovers from different strands. Superb arrangements crown it all. A must on your CD rack.

Title: Room for Squares
Label: Sony
Artist: John Mayer
Rating: 4/5
Customer rating - 4 out of 5
Come on people, you know this is good

I completely do not agree with what the so called "expert" has said. John Mayer's "Room For Squares" is an excellent is mellow, but upbeat in a way. I can't seem to take it out of my cd player, i listen to it all the time. He is a a great musician and should be credited so. Why do i give it 4 stars you ask? because there is one song that i don't quite like, but that is MY opinion. i think that anyone who even bothered reading this should definitely buy this album.

This is a film music lover's delight: 84 themes/melodies from some of the greatest films in cinematic history. As the owner of twenty-eight albums from the company's catalog, I can attest that Varese-Sarabande is the premier label for contemporary and classic soundtracks.
And the price on this one is a definite STEAL!

Title: The Very Best Of Cher
Label: Rhino Records
Artist: Cher

Ignorance is Bliss

I am kind of surprised by all the negative reviews from people claiming that Cher is a no-talent who was famous only because of her husband, Sonny Bono. I find that claim interesting, considering that Sonny was only involved in the first 10 years of Cher's career. Was Sonny also responsible for the following 30 years of success Cher had--even though he had nothing to do with her? And, if Sonny was such a genius, why was he never able to regain the kind of success he had when he was with Cher?
People will trash and bash Cher from now until eternity. I suppose they are trying to convince themselves. Anyway, people can say what they want, but Cher's legendary success speaks for itself--she is the ultimate diva. She has done it all. No one else can touch her, though they may try.
